A pattern for the pulsating walls
A set of four thermometers, which is arranged diagonally around the center point at 90° each other, is the basic pattern, and it is repeated all over the walls to look like a net. The liquid inside the thermometers moves up and down reacting to the temperature, and it looks zooming in and out toward the four directions. The countless number of spots on the walls keep zooming according to the daily change of the temperature, which occurs as long as the daily and yearly round of the earth exist. In my mind, it is portrayed as an expansion of pulsating patterns/spots.
The thermometers that I use here are designed to measure -20°to 50°, and they have some limitations. When the temperature goes over this limit, the work comes to an end, or to a completion.
