Field work is the source of my works. How I deal with the thermometers in the environment of each site has always influence on the way I make my works.

The thermometers were used to be laid down horizontally side by side on the ground until this exhibition,  which was to show the temperature of 5cm deep under the ground by sticking the thermometers vertically on the ground. About 600 thermometers were stuck in the form of a circle in diameter of 2400mm at different sites, so that the red band of temperature of 5cm deep underground was made to be visible. It did not go well to set the thermometers as planned, which was a different experience from setting them on a flat panel that took only 6 hours. In the end, it could be recognized as art performance, therefore, I filmed the act to keep the record and uploaded it on the website as a video work.
