In 2011, I made artworks for AQUAIGNIS,  which was a new commercial facility built as the renewal project of Kataoka Hot Spring in Komono town, Mie Prefecture,  under the planning leadership by Mai Miyake. In 8 years since then, I received a job offer to make artworks for AQUAIGNIS which opened in Sano city, Osaka Prefecture. The thermometers are arranged to make a temperature line at 26℃ which is a set temperature in the facility, and red and blue thermometers are arranged to meet at the center point.             Translation Ayumi Kudo
